Continuing our series on tips/ tricks on how to serve commonly disliked veggies to #fussyeaters ,today I want to talk about BEETROOT. This a veg that many kids aren't crazy about, so mums tend to leave off the grocery list.

Beets are nutritional powerhouses. They're rich in folate, manganese and dietary nitrates. Folate is an important nutrient needed for heart health. Manganese is needed for bone formation, brain function and nutrient metabolism. Dietary nitrates are great for active kids; Studies show that these can help boost athletic performance by 20% by improving oxygen use and endurance!
Whether you're one of the few lucky ones who's kiddos eat plain boiled beets or a mama who's little one refuses to touch them, I hope these un-beet-able ideas get your creative juices flowing! :)
