As a mom and a chef, I am a bit obsessed with finding ways to get kids to eat more veggies. They are after all nutrient-dense, fiber packed foods and play a huge role in keeping us healthy!
Time and again, I see parents worry that their kids are fussy and refuse to eat vegetables. They beg and plead, sometimes threaten, and in desperate times even bribe the kids to eat “just a few bites more” (we've all been there at some point!)
Many kids resist leafy greens. In some cases they don't like the texture, or find the taste overpowering, but a lot of times, it is a mental block that they need help overcoming.
Over time, I have tried and tested different ways to serve leafy greens (like spinach) to kids - which address both taste and texture problems as far as kids are concerned. They are easy tricks to have up your sleeve if you are looking to improve your little one's (or your own) spinach intake!
